A threaded build of Tcl/Tk 8.3.2 or higher is required. Earlier versions of Tcl/Tk may work; however, they are not officially supported. Tcl/Tk 8.5 is currently installed with this component in the "Tcl" subdirectory.

In addition, Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Service Pack 6 is required to use any of the sample code. Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5 or higher and the Microsoft Jet Database Engine 3.51 Service Pack 3 or higher are required to use some of the sample code.

This library was compiled with Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 Service Pack 6. It requires the latest service pack of the Microsoft Visual C++ 6 Runtime Library ("MSVCRT.DLL" and/or "MSVCRTD.DLL"), which may already be installed on your system.

It is also helpful to have the most recent version of the core COM/COM+ libraries for your operating system.
